Meet the Committee – Pine Rivers Rapids Baseball Club

At Pine Rivers Rapids Baseball Club, our success on and off the field is driven by the dedication and passion of our volunteer committee. These incredible individuals work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure our club continues to thrive as a welcoming community hub where players of all ages can develop their skills, build lasting friendships, and create memories that last a lifetime.

Our committee members bring diverse skills, experience, and unwavering commitment to making Rapids Baseball the best it can be. From managing day-to-day operations to planning exciting events and maintaining our fantastic facilities, each member plays a vital role in our club's ongoing success.

2025/2026 Season Executive Committee

President - Luke Stitt

Luke leads our club with vision and determination, ensuring we stay true to our values while continuing to grow and evolve as a community organisation.

Vice President Baseball Operations - Luke Stitt

Luke oversees all our baseball operations, from coordinating teams and fixtures to ensuring our players have everything they need to succeed on the diamond.

Vice President Facilities - Graham Honsa

In addition to his presidential duties, Luke also takes on the crucial role of maintaining and improving our club facilities, ensuring we have top-notch grounds and amenities.

Secretary - Ellie Roberts

Ellie keeps our club running smoothly by managing communications, maintaining records, and ensuring everyone stays informed about club activities and important updates.

Treasurer - Georgina Glenton

Georgina manages our club's finances with care and transparency, ensuring every dollar is spent wisely to benefit our members and support our growth.

Executive Committee Position Responsibility Overview

President: Provides strong and positive leadership to the Committee and volunteers. Creates a supportive environment to help the club grow and succeed. Works to build good relationships with local businesses and council, and helps secure the club’s future.


Vice President, Baseball Operations: Oversees the development and pathways for players, coaches, and technical volunteers. Supports selections, training, and standards for all people involved in baseball activities.


Vice President, Facilities: Oversees the day-to-day operations of the club. Makes sure responsibilities in their portfolio are carried out and supports smooth running of club activities.


Secretary: Maintains high standards of club administration and communication. Ensures all meetings are organised, run properly, and recorded according to legal requirements.


Treasurer: Keeps accurate financial records and monitors the club’s income and spending. Helps set and manage budgets. Makes sure the club meets all its legal financial obligations.


General Committee Position: Actively participates in committee meetings and decisions. Manages their specific portfolio or projects. Works with other committee members to oversee the club’s management and help deliver club goals.



Non-Executive Committee Position Responsibility Overview

Volunteer Coordinator: Coordinates recruitment, onboarding, and rostering of volunteers across club activities. Ensures roles are clearly defined and adequately filled while maintaining positive engagement and recognition of volunteers.


Uniform Coordinator: Manages ordering, distribution, and inventory of all club uniforms and apparel. Acts as the main point of contact for sizing, replacements, and uniform compliance.


Registrar: Oversees player and member registrations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with league requirements. Maintains the club database and supports clear communication regarding registration processes and deadlines.


Canteen and Bar Coordinator: Manages the operation of the canteen and bar, including stock control, pricing, and food safety compliance. Coordinates volunteers and ensures efficient service during games and events.


Umpire Coordinator: Organises umpire allocations for all games and liaises with league officials as required. Supports umpire development, availability tracking, and match-day coverage.


Scorer Coordinator: Coordinates scoring duties across all teams and ensures scorers are trained and supported. Maintains scoring standards and acts as a resource for scoring systems and queries.


Grounds Crew Coordinator: Oversees the preparation, maintenance, and safety of club facilities and playing fields. Coordinates working bees and ensures the grounds are match-ready.


Junior Player Welfare: Supports the wellbeing, safety, and positive experience of junior players within the club. Acts as a point of contact for concerns and promotes a safe, inclusive environment.


Senior Player Welfare: Focuses on the wellbeing and support of senior players, both on and off the field. Provides a confidential contact point for concerns and helps foster a respectful club culture.


Sponsorship Coordinator: Develops and maintains relationships with sponsors to support the club financially and strategically. Identifies new opportunities while ensuring sponsors receive appropriate recognition and value.


BNR Representative: Represents the club at BNR meetings, communicating key information between the league and committee. Advocates for the club’s interests and ensures alignment with league requirements.


Director of Coaching: Leads the development and implementation of the club’s coaching framework. Supports coaches through mentoring, resources, and alignment with player development goals.


Equipment Coordinator: Manages the purchase, distribution, and maintenance of all club equipment. Ensures teams have the necessary gear and that equipment is safe, accounted for, and in good condition.
