Registration Information

Welcome to the Rapids Family!

Whether you're joining us for the first time or returning for another season, we're thrilled to have you back on the diamond.

Registration for the 2025/2026 season is now open, and we can't wait to see our players, from our tiniest T-Ballers to our seasoned seniors, back where they belong.

Baseball is more than just a game here at Pine Rivers Rapids. It's about building confidence, making lifelong mates, and learning skills that go way beyond the field (like how to handle a tough loss or celebrate a teammate's win). Our club is volunteer-run and community-powered, which means every single family plays a part in making this season awesome.

Ready to get started? Let's walk through it together.

Fees Breakdown

Here's what you're looking at for the 2025/2026 season. Remember, these fees are inclusive, no hidden weekly or game fees. What you see is what you pay.

What Your Fees Cover

Your registration isn't just a ticket to play, it's an investment in our entire baseball community. Here's exactly where your money goes:

  • Umpire fees – Qualified officials calling fair games
  • Equipment – Bats, balls, helmets, and all the gear your team needs
  • Field maintenance – Keeping our diamonds game-ready all season long
  • Insurance – Comprehensive coverage through Baseball Queensland
  • Association fees – Keeping us registered and compliant with BQ and BA
  • Lighting and facility costs – So we can play under the lights
  • End-of-season trophies and celebrations – Because every player deserves recognition

Bottom line: Your fees make this entire operation possible, and we don't take that lightly. Every dollar stays within our club or goes to supporting baseball in Queensland.

Sponsorships subsidise every age group to keep playing this wonderful club sport!

The Baseball Queensland GameDay website charges an administration fee of 3.5% per transaction.  This is included not included in the above quoted fees.

* Masters registration only entitles the purchaser to participate within Masters competition only. This includes GBL Masters Divisions 1, 2, 3 and GCBA Masters competition – this does not cover the purchaser for Adults Seniors competitions, events, and tournaments.

Payment Plans

While it is the club's policy to have all fees paid before the first game, we understand that this is not always possible for all families.  If  you require some more time, you are able to create a payment plan in the form of a direct debit as part of the registration process.  Please note the following terms and conditions:

  1. Only the Club Fees portion can be covered by a payment plan.  Baseball Queensland Fees need to be paid on registration, and all uniforms must be paid for in full before they are ordered.
  2. Direct debits can only be approved out of a bank account, credit card payments can be made at the club or online, but not as a payment plan.
  3. Direct debits are processed on a Tuesday or Friday, this is out of Rapid's control and is stipulated by our third party service provider.
  4. Each direct debit will be charged 99c, this will automatically be added to your payment instalment.  This money goes directly to our third party provider to cover their fees.  Rapids continues to absorb all other costs associated with credit card/EFT/online payments.
  5. Any payments that are rejected from your bank will attract an additional fee of $5.50 to cover the costs associated with a failed debit.  After two consecutive failed payments, your payment plan will be cancelled and we'll be in contact with you to organise an alternate payment method.
  6. ALL payments MUST be complete before the 1st November 2025.

The Rapids Way: Our Code of Conduct

At Pine Rivers Rapids, we play hard, we play fair, and we play together. Our full Code of Conduct is available for review, but here are the Golden Rules we live by:

For Players:

  • Have fun and give it your all – That's what you're here for
  • Respect your teammates, coaches, umpires, and opponents – On and off the field
  • Be a good sport – Win with humility, lose with grace (not so much we hope, but it happens!)
  • Listen to your coaches and follow the game rules – They're here to help you grow

For Parents and Supporters:

  • Cheer positively – Support all players, not just your own
  • Respect the umpires – They're doing their best, and mistakes are part of the game
  • Let the coaches coach – Trust them to develop your player
  • Model good sportsmanship – Your kids are watching how you behave

For Coaches and Volunteers:

  • Create a safe and inclusive environment – Every player deserves to feel welcome
  • Prioritize player development over winning – Skills and character matter more than the scoreboard
  • Communicate openly with families – Keep everyone in the loop

Remember: We're all here because we love baseball and we love this community. Let's keep it that way.

Our full Codes of Conduct (including specific guidelines for players, parents, spectators, and coaches) are available for download via the below links. These aren't just rules, they're our promise to each other.
